Mrs. Moorer's Class Website

Hi, my name is Melanie Moorer.  I have been teaching for over 20 years across different grade levels and four different states.  I am currently teaching Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, and Personal Finance at Saugatuck Middle/High School in conjunction with Lake Michigan College.  

 

I am originally from South Carolina where I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC.  I began teaching in Columbia, SC in Richland One Public Schools and went on to complete my master's degree in Educational Administration at the University of South Carolina.  Recently, I completed an additional master's degree from Ball State University in Muncie, IN in Mathematics Education.  After leaving South Carolina, I moved to North Carolina where I taught in Bryson City, NC, then Indiana where I taught in Frankton, IN, and now I currently reside near Saugatuck, Michigan where I teach high school and dual enrollment courses in mathematics.
